We’re Home!

Sorry for the lack of posts when we were on our trip. We were either busy doing something, or resting!

We flew in late Monday night and were driven home in a limo (the same one that took us there). Tom was exhausted, so I am very thankful he did not have to drive us home.

Overall, the trip was amazing. It took us about 4 days to settle in. It had been a long time since some of us had done much because of COVID. But once we settled in, we had some great times together as a family. Sometimes it was all of us, and sometimes, just a few of us.

We have so many pictures. I can’t wait to go through them as a family and talk about all the fun things we did.

Today, my body is really hurting, as it did most of the trip. I pushed as hard as I could, as I knew I wouldn’t be able to much longer. So today, and probably the next few days, this is where you will find me….laying on the bed, resting. Oliver is sleeping next to me on the bed, which he has never done before. I love it! We sure missed him while we were gone, but Hannah took great care of him and sent us pictures so we could see him! The girls loved that! We also dropped in on one of our Alexa Show devices and got to video “chat” with him and Hannah. That was fun.
This was taken on our last day in the parks. Hooray for a fabulous wheelchair which helped make this trip possible!

I will write a lot more in the days to come. But for now, back to resting!

    Dear Jennifer. So glad that you had a good time and made some precious memories with your girls and husband. Your girls are beautiful! I admire your strength, courage authenticity and humor. What a great example you are to all of us. I pray for you every night. So happy you took this trip even with the pain. Love the picture of you with your dog – there is something so relaxing and comforting to snuggle up with a pet. Prayers for you every night from me.

    Seeing this update made my day! I’m so glad you were all able to have this special time together. I look forward to hearing about your adventures and seeing more pictures!     So glad you all had an amazing fun trip to Disneyworld. Glad Tom didn’t have to drive home from the airport .

    Now you can all settle back in to a routine and enjoy the pictures and memories from your trip.

    Jennifer, I am so glad you all had such a wonderful time on your trip. God is so good and our prayers were answered. Looking forward to hearing more about it and seeing the pictures. Praying you will be able to rest and recoup. Love that Oliver is resting with you. I love when my cat Milo takes a nap with me.

    So happy that you had an amazing trip! What middle school are your girls going to? I have been subbing a Mapleview and have had alot of my former LWES kids in my class and as always they have been amazing! I think they were happy to see me, but now that they are in middle school, they can’t show it!
