Happy Saturday.  We had a lovely, relaxing Thanksgiving.  We have so much to be thankful for!

Friday morning, I took all the girls Black Friday shopping for the first time.  We had so much fun!!  I’m sure that will be a tradition from now on.  We also decorated for Christmas that day, so by the evening, we were exhausted!

Looking forward, I have scar reduction surgery on Monday, scheduled for 11 am at St. Claire’s hospital in Tacoma.  After surgery we will grab something to eat and then I have a 3:45 radiation appointment.

Tuesday morning, I have a post-op appointment in the morning and then will also have radiation that day.

Wednesday is a little slower with just radiation.

Tom is going to work remotely so he can drive me as needed.  I am praying I will only need to take Tylenol for the pain so I can drive, but we’ll see.

On top of all of that, our oldest has tech week for Miracle on 34th St., which opens on Friday night, and our middle daugher also has 2 choir performances.  So with school, practices and performances, it’s going to be a bit crazy.

This weekend, we’ll be prepping food and our home so the week can go as smoothly as possible!

Will you please join us in praying for all of these things and all the moving parts as it seems a bit overwhelming to think about?  Will you also pray for my back?  The Dr. is limiting what I can do for 6 weeks after surgery, and I’m concerned about it, as I will not be allowed to do all the normal strengthing exercises I do every day.  Thanks friends!
