Today was my 3rd and final day of radiation. While I feel like I have been receiving great care, the experience is very different than my time at Valley Medical Center. The commute, the facility, etc….I’m thankful that it’s only 3 days.
Recovery is going slower than I would like, but I’m hanging in there. The vicodin was making me nauseous, but Tylenol seems to be ok as a pain killer. Gravity and doing things that require any bending forward are painful, so I’ve been doing a lot of sitting. It’s hard to look at my floors and not vacuum. 🙁 Tom has been amazing around the house AND working. And while he’s back at work today, he made sure we had everything we needed for the day before he left.
I had a friend drive me to radiation today and she even went and put air in one of my car tires that was really low. 🙁 . It’s still so hard to ask for help.
That’s it for today.
Jennifer 🙂

Well done on being patient and taking care of yourself, Jennifer. The floors will wait for you, I promise! hehehe. That’s good news about the Tylenol, too. Love and health to you, beautiful lady! ~Jennifer~
Thanks so much. 🙂 The girls will be doing some cleaning after school today!
Hello Jennifer,
You remain in my prayers every day for the difficult journey you’re facing. I know for me that giving thanks and praise to the Lord for whatever comes is very important. It serves as a reminder that He is sovereign and has the best plan for us even when that plan isn’t ours. God is using you in many ways to be a light to others though you may not see it now. Praying for added strength each day as you desire to serve your family. You are so special to God and to me! I miss you too.
Oh Debbie…Thanks for the encouragement and reminder in the midst of your own difficult journey. Continuing to pray for all of you! And miss you too! Wish I could be back sitting in your living room, decorated for Christmas and having our weekly Bible Study.
