I was able to talk to my doctor while at the infusion center today. Here’s what’s new:
We are changing up the quantity of certain things I am taking for constipation. Hopefully that will help. If not, he has ordered a medicine I can take that specifically helps constipation from narcotics.
I am going to switch to a fentanyl patch for my extended release pain medication instead of morphine pills. The patch lasts 3 days and it will be nice to have a few less pills to take.
He also told me that I can take two of the pills instead of 1 that I was trying for sleeping.
Please pray with us that this new plan will work.
