My pain pump refill went well today. The Dr. numbed the area with some lidocaine and took out the little bit of medicine that was still in there. Then he put in the new medicine. It was pretty quick and relatively painless.

There was still a little bit of the old medicine in the catheter, which he couldn’t get out. So that has continued to give me pain relief while the new medicine works it’s way to and through the catheter to provide relief. So far I’ve had no extra pain, and I’m only a few hours out from when the transition should be complete. I’m so thankful for how well today went. Hopefully it will continue to go well.

I haven’t slept well in a few days because I’ve been so anxious. I’m ready for bed and it’s only 6:40 pm. We’ll see how long I make it before crashing.

Thanks for praying with me through this hard day.

In other news, I did get my bone scan rescheduled, so it is on the 25th of June and my CT is on July 2nd.
