We’ve been enjoying time with my Dad and Else up here. It’s pretty cold and most of the leaves are off the trees which makes me sad. I love looking at fall leaves.
I’ve been dealing with something over the past month or so that I haven’t shared with you yet. Nothing on this journey is easy, even the second time around. Here’s a vlog about it…
We had some family photos taken a few weeks ago and they turned out great. Below are a few of my favorites.
The pictures were taken about a week before my hair started falling out. I’m so thankful we had them taken when we did! Miranda from Miranda Jade Photography did an amazing job of capturing pictures of our family. She did our photos last year as well and I look forward to working with her again. She’s wonderful!

I think losing the hair is one of the hardest things on the journey…it’s a constant reminder that your body is being impacted by the disease and the drugs. Praying for you and a reminder that you are “more” than your hair…and, that choice of a wig is perfect for how your style was after your first round of chemo, etc. love the pictures and nice to hear your voice on the vlog.
