Not feeling well today but here’s a quick update . . .
Thursday was a better day that expected. I was able to go to Bible Study and then got my shot. I was up and around with the girls which enabled Tom to go out and work for a bit.
Friday morning was totally different. I hate that shot!! Even with Claritin, I’m achy. 🙁 So that meant a day of laying in bed for me, dozing off and on.
Saturday morning . . . I’m doing a little better. Not as achy, but not able to do much because I’m so tired. Feeling a bit nauseous, but still making myself eat.
Please pray for rest and that I will not be discouraged. Pray for Tom as he continues to take care of all of us. The girls are singing in church tomorrow with the Children’s Choir and I would love to be able to make it to that. My Dad is on a train up here to visit, so please pray for a safe trip up here for him. We also submitted our financial aid paperwork to the hospital/medical center that is taking care of me. Pray for God’s will with that, whatever it may be. Thanks friends!
Oh sweetheart, lifting your health and spirits up to our loving father tonight! Also praying for rest and restoration so you can enjoy those sweet girls singing in the morning.

I am so happy to hear your Dad is coming for a visit,I hope you have a nice visit. Praying your strength will be better when you wake up tomorrow. You have been so strong through all of this. Hope all is well with Tom and the girls. Just enjoy the girl singing in church, I am sure that will lift your spirits. Continually praying for you and your family. God Bless
I made it to church on Sunday and was able to relax the rest of the day! Yay! 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving Pat!
Praying for you all tonight my friend! There is grace for one day at a time and sometimes it’s enough to take it one hour at a time…lots of love and read Romans 15:13 when you get a minute…
“. . . so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Yes!! I want to be overflowing with hope. Thank you friend!
Praying for your family. …. so glad your dad can come for a visit
Praying that these days, as you anticipate dad’s visit, will be full of joy and excitement….he’s on his way! Praying also that you will feel great, energized and buoyant because our Lord is meeting your every need!
Isaiah 26:3-4
The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.
Love that verse! Thanks for your help getting my Dad to the train station!
So glad your dad will be visiting you. Praying that your time together will be sweet and joyful. Keeping you and your family in our prayers. Peace I leave, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid. John 14:27
Thanks Jan. It’s been so much fun to have him up here. He even helped decorate our tree on Friday! :-
