Well, I’m exhausted.
That pretty much sums it up.
No food sounds good (even Tastykakes, which is so sad.). But I’m eating because I need to.
Laura drove me to Bible study this morning which was great. :-). Between what I’m learning in our study of creation and the fellowship with sweet friends, it was a perfect morning.
Tom picked me up and we headed back up to the Infusion Center for my white blood cell booster shot. I enjoyed talking with some ladies in my room as I waited for the shot. And thanks to Emily and a few nurses who suggested taking Claritin the day of and the day after the shot, I am not aching from the shot like I did last time. Woohoo! Who in the world figured out that Claritin would help with that? I have no idea, but so far so good!!
I think today was the last day I am going to be able to style my hair. It’s falling out slowly each time I touch it. So tomorrow’s hair shaving party at 4 pm, for lack of a better term, is coming at the perfect time.
Our 7 year old is like a new child now that the antibiotics kicked in. She totally could have gone to school today, but because of school policy, hung out with us all day, bouncing off the walls. 🙂
In other news, which I’m sure you’ll all be excited to hear, I mailed out some cute Chef Wife t-shirts that I had made for my blog which I’m really excited about. And in continuing to purge clutter and things we don’t need from our home, discounted all of Tom’s cooking videos on his website. So if you would like to do some early Christmas shopping, we’d love for you to take them off our hands. 🙂
Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”
Continuing to cover you in prayers, my friend!
You, Tom and the girls are in my thoughts and prayers every day!
Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice. Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
