Thought I’d give a quick update…
I feel great! I have more energy than I have had in months, which is due to working out each morning and staying active with the girls. 🙂 I’m so thankful to be feeling great.
I am starting to get a bit of a radiation tan on my chest. It’s very mild and not very noticeable, but it is there. It’s not painful in any way but the skin is starting to change, so we’ll see how that goes.
When I met with the Dr. today, he was encouraged that I didn’t have any fatigue and said that some patients don’t get any. Who knows if I will be one of them, but I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing and pray for that!
The weather has been HORRIBLE and we would really like to be able to go to the lake. But at least it’s not raining. The girls and their neighborhood friends are currently selling homemade ice cream to the neighbors, leaving me with a little peace and quiet in the house, at least for a short time.
Life is always crazy, but that’s it for now…more later…
Hearing this makes me so happy! I had a lot of fatigue and you are very blessed to be able to be with your daughters and have some energy back. I will continue to pray that you gain strength and have a wonderful summer!
Thank you Janet! 🙂
Good to hear of your progress. I didn’t get to telling you yesterday when I saw you besides our hair conversation that you look great!
Well, thanks for the hair support yesterday. 🙂
WOW!!! What great news! More energy than you have had in months!! Praise the Lord! Will be praying things stay good and for some sunshine. Think of you and your family often.
HE IS YOUR ROCK!
Marcia
I know! Yay! When can we plan a lake day (if the weather cooperates)?
Wonderful news! Praying you will not get any radiation fatigue. God is so good
Thank you Bonnie. 🙂
Oh Jennifer, that’s great news! So happy you don’t have any fatigue yet. Praying that stays the status quo. As for the sunshine, I’ll do my best to bring it with me in 2 weeks! 🙂 xoxo
Please, please, please bring the sun!! Can’t wait to see you!
Oh, How wonderful you sound. I can feel the smile on your face. Keep smiling Jennifer. God is good. Thank you Jesus for all you have done. Our prayers are still coming your way.
