Pain, pain, go away. Come again another….well actually, just go away.
I’ve been struggling with really bad bone pain lately. I had my checkup with the Oncologist today and we talked about it. The plan for now is to stop the hormone blocking pill I’m on (Aromasin) and let the symptoms go away. Then start up another hormone blocking pill (Femara), hoping for less side effects. If after 2 week of stopping the current pill, I am still having bone pain, we’ll talk about doing a scan to find out what is causing the pain.
Will you please pray that first, the pain does go away when I stop the current pill? And second, that I will not have bad side effects with the new pill? Thanks for praying with us on this journey!
Will be praying for you!
Thank you Marilee!
I’m praying, friend!

Thanks Sandy!
Jennifer, I had the same thing happen on three anti-hormone therapy drugs- Aromasin, Arimidex and Tamoxifen. Of the three, Tamoxifen had the least side effects for me but after much prayer, I felt it was OK to go off of all of them. The bone pain was unbearable and I was on the each drug for one month before stopping in trying another. I will be praying that you can find the right one and it will work well for you. Since my cancer was ER PR positive and Her2Neu negative, my oncologist really wants me to be on an anti-hormone therapy since estrogen and progesterone feed my cancer. But I put my trust in the Great Physician, God. I just celebrated my third year post diagnosis and I am doing well! Pray about your decision, talk to your doctor, and weigh all of your options carefully. I know God will give you wisdom to know what is best for you.
Thanks Bonnie! Yay for 3 years! It’s so hard to evaluate if the drugs are worth the side effects!!
Dear Heavenly Father I come to you with open heart Father I know you are sovereign over all Father I ask that you send you white healing light to stop the pain in Jennifer’s bones. Father we know you are the greatest healer please father I ask this is your holy and precious name . Amen
Oh Sweet Jennifer, lifting your pain, new meds and clarity for directionality up to our Father. Love and miss you, friend

Thanks Amanda! Hope to be able to catch up soon!
This part is the toughest, it seems, right? The side effects of the pill that is supposed to “keep watch” at the doorway for our physical good, has other effects, making us wonder how “good” it is. I found an integrative doctor, who is going to be helping me with the side effects…so, I have some new hope that I can find a new normal that will work ok, but I know the “tipping point”. I’m glad your oncologist is working with you, to find out what’s the cause…praying that it’s a side effect, and that the Lord will direct. Thanks for sharing with us! I don’t know about you, but I thought this part of the journey would be (somehow) easier than it’s turning out to be ♥ Praying for wisdom!! PS my appt. with my oncologist is today 🙂
I did think this part would be easier. 🙁 It’s not. Praying for your appointment today my friend!
Praying for you, Jennifer, and sending love and hugs and positive vibes your way.
Praying for you!❤️⚓️
